Exciting news has emerged with Lewis Hamilton getting the chance to test the SF-23 Ferrari F1 at their development track at Fiorano later this week.

The 40-year-old is set to take his first few days at work in red this coming week. There will be a tour of Maranello and meetings with the team. The goal is to get comfortable ahead of the season opener in Australia’s prestigious Albert Park.

Scuderia Ferrari last won a Driver’s World Championship in 2007 with Kimi Räikkönen. That makes it 18 years without the feeling of hard-earned victory on that side of things.
The last Constructors’ Championship was won in 2008 with Kimi Räikkönen and Felipe Massa.
Expectation is assumed to be strong with a 105-time race winner joining the team. The goal will be to end a long barren spell without glory.
What’s ahead before the season begins?
The presentation of the new era will begin on the 19th of February, building further excitement for the season ahead.
The seven-time World Champion will do more running, this time at Barcelona later in the month. It’s a track providing further data and a broader reference of feedback.
Hamilton’s first feelings of the new SF-25 entry will be at Fiorano again in February, with a few laps allowed after the presentations commence.
Further examinations will take place with pre-season testing in Bahrain on the 26th-28th of February 2025.
