Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak had a quiet F3 season last year with AIX racing as the team generally struggled for speed. This year he will be racing with Campos Racing, a team he drove for in Eurocup-3 two years ago.

“I’m familiar with how they work and everyone in the team,” said Inthraphusuvak at an exclusive media event Pit Debrief had the chance to attend.

Inthraphuvasak joined them from the end of last year and the pre-season, and he is “super confident” heading into the new season, especially at Melbourne.

Last year Campos Racing placed in the top 4, so the switch to Campos definitely meant a greater chance of seeing podium wins. “I’m super confident with the team behind me that we can deliver this year” added Inthraphuvasak.

Inthraphuvasak “learned a lot” from teammates

Campos has a very dynamic line up this year, the Thai driver is paired up with Nikola Tsolov and Mari Boya. Both drivers have had amazing seasons and are in their third season in the series.

While the drivers will be competing against each other on track, Inthraphuvasak has learnt a lot from them during pre-season.

“I’ve learned a lot from them, from their experience that they’ve had in the championship which I think is really important since stepping from a lower category, it’s very different, this championship with very little practice time. So, experience is very important and I’ve learned massively from them.”

The three drivers have had a good pre-season testing, practicing and in a way growing together. While Tsolov placed first on Day 2 of pre-season testing, Inthraphuvasak placed 2nd. Only a two-tenths difference.

Inthraphuvasak is the second Thai driver to be on the F3 grid, following Alex Albon. The masses are definitely looking forward to see the driver will rise to the occasion this year with Campos Racing.
