Oscar Piastri took a supreme victory as McLaren completed a 1-2 in a tense race as Mercedes, Ferrari and the Red Bull of Max Verstappen all showed good pace at various points. It’s McLaren’s 50th 1-2 in F1.

In the end George Russell was best of the rest with P3, as Max Verstappen finished 4th following a very strong hard tyre stint. The Ferraris could only manage P5 and P6 on a tough day.

Haas had a superb day with Esteban Ocon in P7, and Ollie Bearman backed it up with a storming drive through to P10. Like they did in Melbourne, Kimi Antonelli and Alex Albon scored points.

*UPDATED: Both Ferraris and Gasly got disqualified. Ocon, Antonelli, Albon, Bearman, Stroll and Sainz complete the top 10.
