Round 3 of the 2025 F1 championship is in the books as the Japanese GP at the iconic Suzuka circuit is over, and you can view the full standings below.
In a tense race that took place over 53 laps, Max Verstappen managed to hold off the McLaren drivers with the Woking-based team. Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri had a race long battle as the Australian consistently put pressure on his British teammate.
Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc drove an excellent race as he fended off George Russell to finish in P4. Kimi Antonelli displayed outstanding race pace on used mediums and fresh hards to cross the line in 6th. Lewis Hamilton was a distant P7 as his alternate strategy did not pay off.
Isack Hadjar, Alex Albon and Ollie Bearman completed the points scorers as the Racing Bull and Haas rookie drivers delivered outstanding weekends.
Aston Martin driver Fernando Alonso drove superbly to finish P11, with Yuki Tsunoda just over a second behind as the Red Bull driver failed to make much progress. Gasly, Sainz, Doohan, Hülkenberg, Lawson, Ocon, Bortoleto and Stroll rounded out the order. The Spanish driver in his Williams made a late charge on soft tyres as he overtook Lawson, Hülkenberg and Doohan to take 14th.
