Trident driver Rafael Câmara has extended his lead to 26 points in the 2025 F3 championship following the conclusion of the Bahrain GP round, view the full standings below.
The Brazilian was utterly dominant in the Feature race at Sakhir, beating Callum Voisin to the win by over 6s. After losing out to the Brit at the start, he got the lead back a few tours later thanks to DRS. From there he drove away and dominated. A stall on the grid in the Sprint cost him a chance of points. He made a magnificent recovery to P12, missing out by two places.
After a miserable start to the season at Albert Park, Voisin showed he’s a contender for the title in 2025 as a pair of very strong drives to P4 in the Sprint (from 11th on the grid), and P2 in the Feature vaulted him up to 3rd in the standings.
Tim Tramnitz was outstanding as well. After qualifying P13 for both races, he displayed great racecraft, pace and tyre management to storm through to 3rd in the Feature, and he finished 6th in the Sprint. It puts him P2 in the standings.
Although he lost out to Nikola Tsolov for the win in the Sprint, British driver Freddie Slater delivered a huge statement in his one-off (for now) appearance in F3 with AIX Racing. A P2 on debut was a truly remarkable effort.
Finland’s Tuukka Taponen also had a weekend to remember as he secured his first podium in the category with a P3 in the Sprint, and he backed it up with a 4th place in the Feature.
