AF Corse has confirmed that Robert Kubica and Phil Hanson will continue to partner Yifei Ye in the #83 Ferrari 499P Hypercar for the upcoming 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) campaign.
The Italian squad revealed the news as preparations intensify for the new season, ensuring that the driver line-up of the Le Mans-winning entry remains unchanged. Kubica and Hanson will therefore rejoin Ye in the distinctive Giallo Modena-liveried Ferrari that claimed overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
AF Corse confirms unchanged line-up in Le Mans-winning Ferrari for 2026 WEC
The trio will enter the new campaign with significant momentum after delivering a standout performance during the 2025 WEC season. Competing together as a full crew for the first time, Kubica, Hanson and Ye not only conquered the legendary endurance race at Le Mans but also emerged as serious contenders in the Drivers’ World Championship battle.
Their consistency across the championship ultimately secured second place in the standings. The #83 line-up finished just 16 points behind Ferrari team-mates Antonio Giovinazzi, James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi, who clinched the title.
Kubica and Ye will begin their third consecutive season in the Giallo Modena Ferrari 499P, reinforcing their established partnership within AF Corse’s Hypercar operation.
Meanwhile, Hanson continues his rapid rise within Ferrari’s endurance racing programme. The British driver recently secured official factory driver status with the Italian manufacturer and will now extend his relationship with AF Corse into a second year.
Together, the trio forms one of the most experienced and cohesive crews in the Hypercar field.
With the driver line-up confirmed, AF Corse will now focus on building another championship challenge in 2026. The team aims to go one step further in the overall standings after narrowly missing out on the title last year. As the season approaches, AF Corse will look to harness the momentum of its Le Mans success and transform that achievement into a full championship challenge.
