Many days have passed, and we can now say that it is race week. This weekend the Dutch Grand Prix will take place at the Zandvoort circuit.
With a drivers’ championship where the local hero remains well ahead of all the other contenders, things are very tight in the middle of the grid, however, we will talk about the bottom of the championship.
On the one hand we have the two Haas drivers, who have 9 points from Nico Hulkenberg and 2 points from Kevin Magnussen. In this fight to get out of the bottom of the field are the three drivers who have driven this year’s AlphaTauri, Nyck de Vries and Daniel Ricciardo with 0 points so far and Yuki Tsunoda with just 3 points. Finally, the two Alfa Romeo drivers are also here. The Finnish driver got a total of 5 points, while his teammate and Chinese driver, Guanyu Zhou, got 4.

The Swiss-Italian team have not performed well in the 12 races so far, however they arrive in Zandvoort hoping to get off to a good start in the second half of the 2023 season of motorsport’s top flight. Today, Alfa Romeo has made public a collaboration with BOOGIE Art Car.
It is a campaign by Sauber (owner of Alfa Romeo) which aims to bring fans closer to this team, as well as raise funds for the charity institution who is a member of the team, Save The Children.
The world-renowned artist for his graffiti, BOOGIE, has made a special design for the Alfa Romeo C43. This livery had previously been unveiled just days before the team launched its competitor car this year at Waldhaus Films, right in the Swiss Alps. As we can see, it is a pattern of letters that, if joined together, form the name of the team, some sponsors and the name of its drivers.
This campaign is part of Art Car, which consists of a series of public events throughout the European continent, such as the United Kingdom, Switzerland and now it will come to the Netherlands. During the C43 presentation in February, Alfa Romeo also held activities to allow fans to interact more closely with the cars, even making a 3D model of this distinctive design made by BOOGIE.
During this week, Alfa Romeo will have events in which the artist will be present. However, the highlight will be that the car will be present in the Fan Zone of the Dutch Grand Prix, where fans will be able to take pictures with it, as well as visit the stand that will have a collection of clothing, also inspired by the street art of the artist but also of motorsport. The Art Car, as well as all the canvases they will have, will be auctioned through F1 Authentics, with all funds going to Save The Children.
It will also be run as a tribute livery by the team on track this weekend.
“The Alfa Romeo F1 Team x BOOGIE Art Car project has been an incredible journey, which deserves a proper celebration.”
“This project has brought Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake closer to the fans in each phase of its development.” Alfa Romeo’s team representative, Alessandro Alunni, stated.
“This is the team’s first ever Art Car: with his distinctive, clean, comic-style look, BOOGIE put his signature on a unique project and we are proud of having brought together our partners in this weekend’s activities.”
