Alpine F1 Team has unveiled its A525 livery for the 2025 season at the F1 75 Launch Event in London.

Formula 1 celebrates its 75th anniversary this year and has organised a huge season launch event at the O2 in London. All F1 teams have unveiled its liveries to 18,000 people in the arena, with all drivers and team bosses present. Some teams will hold own events to present their 2025 cars.

Since the partnership with BWT has started, Alpine had one standard livery and one pink livery. This year, however, they will be sticking to a single one.

Doohan and Gasly to form line-up — Colapinto on standby

The French team has parted ways with Esteban Ocon ahead of the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. He was unsurprisingly replaced by Jack Doohan, who was already confirmed to race for Alpine in 2025. Ocon joined in 2020, when the team was known as Renault. His contract would have ran out anyways.

Gasly has signed a multi-year contract extension earlier last year. Alpine confirmed Franco Colapinto as its reserve driver, together with Paul Aron. Rumour has it that Colapinto might replace Doohan, in case the Australian doesn’t perform in the first six races, as reported by Pit Debrief earlier this year.

Horrific start, great recovery: The 2024 season from Alpine F1

Going into 2024, Alpine had a struggling start as the car was not in competitive stage. However, throughout the year, Alpine not only changed its people in the management but also went for a different development approach. It payed off and the team placed sixth after a surprising 2-3 finish in Brazil. Can the Alpine A525 and its striking livery bring them back toward the front of the midfield in F1 in 2025?

From 26th to 28th February, Formula 1 will hold its pre-season tests in Spain at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Australia returns as the season opener in the 24-race calendar, with F1 kicking off the season on Albert Park Circuit in Melbourne in mid-March.
