Eriksson is the first driver to get on track for the last FP session of the weekend with a 1:04.111s. Evans gets the lead after the first set of attempts, with the Envision driver the first to sign a lap in the 1:02s.

Ten minutes into the session, his teammate and Formula 2 driver has snatched the top spot with a 1:02.29s, ahead of two of the series’ most illustrious names, ABT’s Di Grassi and DS Penske’s Vergne.

It’s former championship leader and home talent Pascal Wehrlein the next to get on top as the first driver lapping in the 1:01s with a 1:01.922s. Latest race winner and once again leading the way in both the drivers’ and the team’s standings Nick Cassidy slots in behind Aron.

Da Costa slightly makes contact with Sette Camara’s back, but both drivers are able to resume their session, while Vergne has a snapping moment. The ERT driver is under investigation for impeding his Porsche colleague.

With ten minutes to go in the session, yesterday’s front row starter Vandoorne gets provisional P2 0.133s off the German’s benchmark.

Monaco E-Prix winner Mitch Evans takes provisional P3 ahead if the young Estonian driver. Reigning champion Jake Dennis’s woes continue as after his second zero points race in a row, he is now sitting in P20 not appearing to have much more performance compared to yesterday.

Both Jaguar drivers on the other hand are on a roll, with Cassidy bolting to P2 with a 1:01.960s. He also received a black and white flag for impeding. Provisional top five is completed by a duo who definitely had a tough race yesterday, Maserati’s Daruvala and Gunther.

Overall it was a quiet session without much drama or accidents, quite unlike the drivers ‘first approach to the new layout.

Wehrlein’s mid session time remains the fastest of the day so far, with Cassidy and Vandoorne completing the provisional podium and the Maserati duo rounding off the top 5.

Dennis has managed to find a bit of pace as he ended the session in P7, behind Evans and ahead of Vergne, Da Costa and Ticktum. Aron is the fastest sub of the session in P11.
