With only two more rounds left of the 2024 Formula 2 season, DAMS Lucas Oil have just announced that their driver Juan Manuel Correa will no longer be driving for them. His seat will be taken by his fellow Prema graduate, Dino Beganovic.
Juan Manuel Correa joined DAMS Lucas Oil for the 2024 season, forming an all-American line up alongside teammate Jak Crawford. He stands 17th in the F2 standings with a total of 31 points after 13 rounds.
His replacement Dino Beganovic steps up from Formula 3, where he placed 6th overall in the Formula 3 standings, scoring a total of 109 points. His season featured 2 wins. One from the start of the season in Melbourne,Australia and another victory during a Sprint race in Spa-Francorchamps. This brings his total podium appearances to 4 in his second season in Formula 3.
The Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy driver now graduates to Formula 2 with DAMS Lucas Oil and will participate in the remaining 2 rounds of the Formula 2 season. The 20-year-old is excited for this new chapter of his racing career.

The team owner of DAMS Lucas Oil, Charles Pic thanked Correa for his drives and welcomed Beganovic, expressing his confidence in his potential saying: “We’re excited to take on a talent like Dino for the remainder of the season. It’s a step up from Formula 3 and a very competitive championship, but we’re confident that with the help of the team Dino can be competitive in these final two rounds.”
