The 2025 FIA F3 season is officially up and running as the opening round of the campaign has been completed at the Australian GP, and here is how the championship standings look after a cancelled feature race at Albert Park in Melbourne.

Despite the best effort of the series, the feature race never got going as the rain at Albert Park was far too heavy. Multiple formation laps took place, but it was not to be.

So the only points from the feature part of the weekend go to Victor Martins as he qualified on pole on Friday following the penalty of Gabriele Mini. You get two points for that in F2.

It means that AIX Racing’s Joshua Dürksen leads the F2 2025 championship standings after the Australian GP round. The driver from Paraguay produced an excellent performance to get the jump at the start from P2 on the grid to win the Sprint.

Italian Leonardo Fornaroli had a fine debut in the series as he fended off Luke Browning for P2. Series veteran Richard Verschoor kept them honest in P4.

Staněk, Montoya, Mini and Pepe Martí completed the points scorers.

Arguably the driver of the race was Alex Dunne. An overtaking show from P16 on the grid saw the Irishman finish 9th, just missing out on a point.
