Invicta Racing head into the 2026 F2 season as the benchmark team after securing both Drivers’ and Teams’ titles over the past two years. Joining PREMA Racing on the list of teams to secure both titles consecutively, attention has now shifted to the squad that has guided back-to-back drivers to the crown and established itself as the standard to beat on the Formula 2 grid. To continue the team’s success, Invcita Racing have signed reigning Formula 3 Champion Rafael Câmara alongside returning driver Joshua Dürksen, who returns to the grid for his third season.
Seeking minor improvements in 2026
Although Invicta enter the 2026 F2 season as the team to beat, they aren’t settling for anything less and know they must continue to improve if they want to retain both titles. A recurring trend over the past two years has been their relatively difficult early-season form.
Addressing the team’s key area of improvement for the 2026 season, Team Principal James Robinson said: “We started the year with promise, the pole for Leo [Fornaroli] in Bahrain was a highlight, but we had a lot to do on race pace. Even at the end of the year, we didn’t finish the year fastest on race pace by any means, but Qualifying pace was always phenomenally strong for both cars.”
“We are always asking ourselves how we can improve, how can we do things better, how can we improve our processes, improve the way we go about doing things. So it’s a constant evolution and it’s something we make sure we never forget to do.”

While the team endured challenging starts to both their 2024 and 2025 campaigns, Invicta and their drivers only truly found their rhythm in the second half of each season. As the season opener in Melbourne approaches, Invicta will be hoping for both their drivers to start their campaigns on the right foot.
A lineup built on proven talent, success and speed
Invicta have followed a similar formula to 2025 by pairing the reigning Formula 3 Champion with a race-winning third year driver. Câmara steps up to F2 after a record-breaking campaign in Formula 3, where the Brazilian secured the title with a round to spare, claiming four wins and a podium. However, it wasn’t just his wins that stood out. The Brazilian’s impressive one-lap pace saw him claim a record five pole positions — the most by any driver in a single F3 season.
Alongside Câmara is proven race winner Dürksen, who joins the team from AIX Racing. The Paraguayan driver has impressed many in the paddock, including Mercedes who have signed him as a Development Driver for the 2026 season. Dürksen ended 2025 in strong form, claiming six podiums in the last four rounds. Now, with a team that has consistently delivered results, he will hope this campaign marks the year he emerges as a genuine championship contender.
