As Formula 2 entered their sixth round in Barcelona, Paul Aron starts on pole for the first time with Crawford by his side.

As the formation lap was happening, Antonelli and Stanek had some problems in the car, causing both of them to start from the pit lane.

As pole sitter Aron had an amazing start on the first lap, there was at the back first sector incident as Hauger spins in turn 2 taking Martins out with him on the gravel as Cordeel and Marti got off the incident, safely bringing out the safety car.

As the green flag was waved, Aron had a perfect start, moving away from Crawford as a tight fight between Bortoleto and Hadjar for fourth place.

Lap 9 and the soft tyres stints are coming to an end. The first two to pit in the race is O’Sullivan, Miyata and Stanek who went from soft to hard tyres.

As Aron pits in Lap 12, he came out in front of his biggest competition in this feature race, Crawford. However, as Crawford pitted earlier and has his tyres up to optimal temperature, he easily overtook Aron which could just place Crawford on the top step of the podium.

Lap 13 and the Virtual safety car was shown, and Taylor Barnard stopped right outside the pit exit, out of the race.

Lap 16 and as Aron was trying to get in front of Crawford, he had a snap of oversteer and went into the gravel in turn 14 and dropped 3 positions into P12.

The Yellow flag was waved, and the Virtual safety car was deployed as Dürksen, who was leading the race, lost the power on his car.

Lap 23 and the first of the drivers on the hards are finally pitting. Verschoor pits and comes out P17.

With 10 laps left, Correa leads with Maini and Cordeel as the top two, Correa and Maini pits on the next lap. Correa comes out P9, however Maini had an issue with the pit stop, coming out P15.

Lap 30, Antonelli, the last man standing without pitting, finally pits and comes out P17 in front of Stanek.

Lap 33 and Correa overtook the championship leader for the final podium place, having both the Dams cars on the podium as Crawford leads and Colapinto in P2.

With one more lap to go, teammates collide as Maini and Bortoleto makes contact and Bortoleto has damage on his front wing but managed to complete the race.

Jak Crawford takes the win in Barcelona for the second time in his Formula 2 journey, with Colapinto takes second place and Correa takes the final podium position and this time to keep it.

Congratulations to Crawford and the Dams team!
