ISR Racing has officially launched its 2026 racing campaign with a presentation event at the AutoMoto Museum in Lučany, near Prague. The Czech squad, ISR Racing, revealed the new livery for its Audi R8 LMS EVO as it prepares to enter its third full season in the 2026 International GT Open Championship.
Led by team owner Igor Salaquarda, the outfit continues its commitment to the series after two solid campaigns that established the team as a competitive presence in the Pro-Am class. The unveiling event celebrated both the team’s achievements so far and its ambitions for the upcoming season.
With a refreshed look for the car and renewed determination within the team, ISR Racing aims to build on the progress it made during the previous campaign.
Familiar driver pairing returns to ISR Racing for 2026 International GT Open
ISR Racing will once again rely on the driver pairing of Libor Milota and Filip Salaquarda for its main GT Open entry. The duo proved to be strong contenders in the Pro-Am category last season and delivered several impressive performances throughout the year.
Their campaign concluded with a third-place finish in the Pro-Am class standings, highlighting their consistency across the season. The pair also secured a race victory at the Hockenheimring, a key highlight that underlined their ability to challenge at the front of the field.
In addition to the win, Milota and Salaquarda achieved three further podium finishes during the season. These results came at the Hungaroring, the Red Bull Ring and Barcelona, reinforcing their position among the leading Pro-Am competitors in the championship.
Building on last season’s momentum
The team now approaches the 2026 season with the clear objective of improving on last year’s results. With a full year of experience together in the Audi R8 LMS EVO and a deeper understanding of the championship’s circuits and competition, ISR Racing hopes to take another step forward.
The International GT Open has proven to be an ideal platform for the Czech squad, offering competitive racing across some of Europe’s most iconic circuits while allowing teams to develop their programmes steadily.
Milota and Salaquarda’s established partnership will remain a key strength for the team as it seeks to maintain consistency and fight regularly for podium finishes in the Pro-Am category.
Possible second entry for selected rounds
ISR Racing also plans to expand its presence on the grid during the 2026 season. As in the previous year, the team intends to field a second car at selected rounds of the championship.
While details regarding the additional entry have not yet been confirmed, the move would allow the team to increase its involvement in the series and provide further opportunities for drivers to compete under the ISR Racing banner.
With a refreshed livery, an experienced driver pairing and ambitions to improve on last season’s strong results, ISR Racing enters the 2026 International GT Open season ready to continue its growth within international GT racing.
