After an eventful first race in Misano, and a shocking post race disqualification for on track race winner Antonio Felix Da Costa due to running a not allowed car component, it’s time for the second leg of our double header.
Envision’s Buemi signs the first benchmark of the day in 1:21.370s , leading from Cassidy and Nato. Dennis appears to have finally moved on from his initial Misano struggles, slotting in P2 on an high from his impressive recovery that saw him advance from P17 to P2 during yesterday’s race.
Another victim of a post session DSQ was Jake Hughes, who had qualified in P2 but was forced to start at the back of the grid due to the lack of an armed fire extinguisher on his car, whereas a Mahindra car stops on track for the third time this weekend. A number of technical issues have marred Mortara’s weekend so far, but today it’s De Vries’s car to suddenly encounter troubles.
Ten minutes into the session, both Envision cars have bested the earlier lap put in by the McLaren driver, with Buemi’s 1:18.680s in P1.

ERT’ s Sette Camara is the first driver to sign a lap in the 1:17s in the session, after the cancellation of Wehrlein’s previous effort for track limits, with his time quickly improved by Muller and Fenestraz.

With ten minutes to go in FP3, it’s an Andretti 1-2 with Nato ahead of Dennis. Due to track evolutions the times are quickly improving, as Hughes, Frijns and Da Costa slot in ahead of the American team’s driver duo.
Sam Bird runs wide in the gravel, but he manages to keep his car going. Wehrlein gets the provisional P1 with a 1:17.029s. Da Costa suffers from lockup at Turn 11, going wide off track.
In the final heated moments of the session, Frijns is able to improve his best effort to 1:16.959s, securing the top spot ahead od Wehrlein and Hughes.
