TGI Team by GRT confirmed Franck Perera as the third driver alongside Mirko Bortolotti and Maximilian Paul for its campaign in the SRO Motorsports Group’s flagship endurance championship. The 41-year-old Lamborghini factory driver returned to familiar colours, having represented the Italian squad since 2018. He most recently contested the Endurance Cup with GRT in 2024 and brought a wealth of experience to the line-up. Two years earlier, he stunned the paddock at the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa with a sensational pole lap that set a new GT3 circuit record. Over the years, he also enjoyed strong outings for Grasser Racing in DTM, ADAC GT Masters and the IMSA SportsCar Championship, underlining his pedigree across sprint and endurance formats.

Meanwhile, Perera said he felt proud to embark on his ninth season as a Lamborghini factory driver and to reunite with GRT once more. He described the team as a constant throughout his journey with the Italian manufacturer and, as a result, stressed that he could not have imagined a better way to begin this new era with the Temerario GT3. Furthermore, confident in the strength of the line-up, he pointed to the speed and quality of Bortolotti and Paul in the Endurance Cup. Therefore, in his view, the foundations were firmly in place to build a new chapter of success with the car. He also expressed his gratitude to Lamborghini Squadra Corse, GRT and the partners involved for their continued trust and support.

„I am incredibly happy to be entering my ninth year as a Lamborghini Factory Driver and to be driving for GRT again. This team has always meant a lot to me throughout my time with the manufacturer. For me, there could be no better way to start this new chapter with the Temerario GT3. With Mirko and Max, I have two fast teammates at my side in the Endurance Cup. We have all the ingredients to write the next success story with the new car. I would like to thank Lamborghini Squadra Corse and GRT, as well as all the sponsors, for giving me the opportunity to be part of this.“
