Poland’s PTT Racing has confirmed its entry into the 2026 International GT Open, marking another boost for Polish representation on the grid. The team will field a brand-new BMW M4 GT3 Evo for the full season, signalling clear intent to compete at a high level.

As a result, PTT Racing becomes the third Polish outfit to commit to the championship, further strengthening the country’s growing presence in international GT racing.

Dynamic driver line-up at PTT Racing blends youth and experience for 2026 International GT Open

To spearhead its campaign, the team has assembled a balanced driver pairing. Seventeen-year-old Fabian Dybionka will partner with the more experienced 34-year-old Hubert Darmetko. Together, they bring a mix of emerging talent and proven racecraft.

Moreover, both drivers arrive from Porsche one-make series in Germany and the Central European Zone, providing them with solid GT racing foundations. This combination positions the duo as an intriguing prospect as they adapt to the demands of GT3 competition.

A proven team with strong GT pedigree

Although new to the GT Open grid, PTT Racing carries significant experience in GT Sport-promoted championships. Notably, the team claimed the overall title in the GT Cup Europe in 2021 with the Blazek-Lisowski pairing.

In addition, the squad secured further success by conquering the GT Winter Series in 2025. These achievements underline the team’s ability to compete — and win — at a high level across Europe.

Importantly, PTT Racing’s roots trace back to the early 1990s, when it began as a karting outfit. Since then, it has steadily evolved into one of Central Europe’s leading racing structures.

Looking ahead, the team embraces the opportunity to compete in a new environment while maintaining its competitive mindset. In a statement, the team said: “A new chapter has just begun, as we join the GT Open. We have a lot of work ahead of us, new challenges and a huge motivation to give our best on the track”.

At the same time, team manager Marcin Kraczkowski highlighted the emotional significance of returning to a familiar racing ecosystem.

“We had terrific memories of our time in GT Sport-promoted series and of the friendly atmosphere. We are delighted to be part of the family again!”

Ultimately, PTT Racing’s entry reflects a broader trend of increasing Polish participation in top-level GT competition. With a competitive car, a promising driver line-up and a history of success, the team appears well-positioned to make an immediate impact.

Therefore, as the 2026 season approaches, all eyes will be on PTT Racing to see how quickly it can translate its experience into results on the GT Open stage.
