Sebastian Vettel will return to an F1 car at the Nordschleife in September when he drives the RB7 at the famous German venue.
The four-time World Champion will be reunited with the car that he won the World Championship in 2011 with. Vettel finished 122 points clear of McLaren’s Jenson Button.

He also bagged a record amount of poles in one season with 15 — a record that still stands today — and the 35-year-old also secured 11 wins during that dominant campaign.

During his show run, Vettel will be using E-fuels as part of his continued push for sustainability with the planet and in Motorsport.
“It will be great fun to drive my RB7 – fueled with E-fuel – on the Nordschleife as part of the show run,” Vettel stated.
With Vettel’s former Red Bull teammate Daniel Ricciardo set to drive at the event in the RB8, it’s sure to be a special weekend for F1 fans in Germany.
It’s not the German’s only outing this year with an old car as he’ll be driving at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the 1992 Williams and 1993 McLaren next month.
